Kamen Riders Tofu Version

Peace

To all those who dropped by your comments in the tagbox, I would like to thank you for your sincere comments. Thank you for all your supports and advices. I'll do my best to heed your advices should you have any for me. I am truly sorry for any late response especially in posting up a forth post (and yes, always expect a design from me whenever there's a post).

It might be a little hassle of me to put up some works that require necessary copyright protection. I thought of initially putting a logo which I did for some Mathematics course (I was told I'd be paid but apparently not after a loooonnnnnggggg silence from the client), posting up a DVD design which I made for my second Final-Year-Project whilst I was in my third and final year in Republic Polytechnic and some signs which I've yet to put copyright protection on them.

And yes, as the title of this post implies, ladies and gentlemen... I present you... (*drums rolling*)

Haha! Kamen Riders!

This was designed a year ago as my participation in the Tofu design competiton -apparently, I was not the winner (or probably there was some problem as I submitted this work via email?)
During the year I designed the work, Kamen Rider Decade was the tenth Heisei Rider in the Heisei Rider Series. Probably I did this to celebrate its 10th anniversary, perhaps. Go on and count all those primary Riders from the Heisei series from Kuuga to Decade -only fans know what I mean. Have fun as you view some of the bad Riders got crushed in my artwork! Geez!
Signing out, wishing you all peace!
P.S: This design is ONLY a fanmade! I don't own a copyright to the producers of Kamen Rider franchise!

IP MAN TRILOGY

Dear all

First and foremost, I would like to thank those who have dropped by comments on both the tagboard on the right and below (the one provided by Blogspot itself). I truly appreciate them and hope you would come back again and drop more comments regarding my upcoming works.

However, as today's post is not only about thanksgiving, I will update you with my latest work.

Now, I personally believe Ip Man movies are growing in popularity, not to mention the grandmaster by that name itself -commonly known as one who taught Bruce Lee. Upon watching all three movies i.e. Ip Man, Ip Man 2 and Ip Man: The Legend is Born, I thought of making sort of poster or wallpaper out of interest.

So ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you...

Yes, the Ip Man Trilogy! Well, I include Dennis To as the younger Ip Man so as not to left out anyone at the top left hand corner among the three Ip Mans. As usual, do drop by your comments about what you think of the above piece of artwork, thanks! God Bless!

P.S: I don't own Ip Man franchise or any of the images above used as a montage for my work. The above work is only a tribute to all Ip Man films. Yes, Ip Man has undeniably become an inspiration to many especially practitioners of martial arts. And the work of mine is a tribute to him and probably all the production crews who worked tirelessly in producing the semi-biopic films of the grandmaster. Me, a fan? Probably and possibly...

Color Correction

Dear all
Yup, I know it's only been a day since I started posting my introduction, including introducing my logo formally. Okay... I'll definitely post up more works of mine in time but I won't rush into things -isn't it good to take a step at a time? The tortoise won, not the hare... if you get my meaning. Anyway, one reason why I don't wish to upload my works soon because I've yet to re-edit in adding the copyright symbol along with getting that Creative Commons' help to protect them from plagiarism.
Today's post will be about my works i.e. photos in which Color Correction is done upon them. I'll paste both before and after the abovementioned edit so as for viewers to see the contrast. Until then, enjoy and drop your comment! (I repeat; DROP YOUR COMMENT!)

Photo #1:

Before

Well, on the left is before the edit from my image. The following image is, needless to say, the color-corrected one. And, yes, I had a copy of my Final-Year-Project DVD in my hand.

After

This is the color-corrected one. Somehow, my smirk reminds me of Kadoya Tsukasa from K.R Decade -some arrogant protagonist.

---------------------------------------------------------

Photo #2

Before

This was taken sometime ago. Initially, it was intended for my own personal graduation video but I abandoned that project. Not wanting to put it to waste, I decided to correct this one too.
Good memory comes with good colours...
Really, the one of the left here is the raw file; gray-ish colour, lack of colour et cetera... et cetera... Well, the girl on the far left suggested Photoshop (gotta be kidding -initially I thought I'd have a disadvantage in dealing with the photo). Eventually, things turned to be alright and nearly-perfect... See for yourself below...

After

Aha! Somehow, the rightful colors returned to the image after the edit -I'm serious!! Photoshop does work, after all... Sigh... I thought someone attempted to crack a joke! (no offence, really)

I repeat: This is the color-corrected image

-------------------------------------------------
Photo #3

Before

A third one. On the left is the raw image and below the color-corrected version. Do I need to say more?

After

Coincidentally, I did something that led to my satisfaction of this edited version.

----------------------------------------------------

Photo #4

Before

How could I forgot my men-in-black friends from School of Engineering? P.S: I should have been in the middle since I was the odd one to be dressed in non-black clothes. I love the law of balance.

After

I thought I looked as sheepish as Master Ip Man portrayed by Donnie Yen.

============================================

Lastly but not the least...

On your left is another raw image while below is its color-corrected version...

Erm... I was wondering if anyone catch a joke in the last pair of photo?

Cameraman in the photo had a good time playing with his camera. Wait a second -wasn't he supposed to be taking the shot??

-------------------------------------------

So the stars in the photo said;

"That's why we stood impatiently under the colourful lights whereas he in the grayscale!"

THE END

Peace

IzDesign Introduction

Dear all
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for dropping by a visit to this Blog. As mentioned in my profile, this Blog serves as a portfolio of my works in aspects of designs. Basically what I will do while spending some time in building up my own website (I'm still learning, really) is posting up designs in each post. First, I will start with posting my logo, which you'd have probably taken notice right at the top of this Blog.
In addition, I do poster design (and I did it once, which I will be posting it up in here in my upcoming posts... probably) but mainly logos and symbols. For more information, do check out my profile on the right. In addition to that, I do not only do designing but as well as motion graphics. Hence, visit not only this website but as well as http://izfables.blogspot.com/ and drop your comment on the videos I have done. Until, then thank you for dropping.
Peace
